As is always the case working in Photoshop, there are a variety of ways to get where you need to go.

It comes down to skills & personal preferences.

As mine is an older program, I tend to stick with what I know works for me.
I use the transform tools & warp quite a bit.
The liquify sounds interesting.
When did that come in?  ???

General Discussion / Pubic Hair Chooser.
« on: November 06, 2011, 12:29:56 PM »
This is the most excellent 3D rendition of pubic hair I have ever seen, by quite some margin!  :o

A really fine job, I am most impressed.  :eyebrows:

I have to admit, I am a great lover of female pubic hair.
The 70's were great times for the full bush natural look.
I think it is starting to make something of a return, but it is slow.

Some of the styles you have included are a bit bizarre shaves, but there are some more natural growths that I would like to see added if you were able?

You have included one impressive full bush, but there are other varieties.
Some go thick & high, some wide & thick, & some wide & sparse.
An option for a little assymetry added to the natural styles would be good too.

A 'treasure trail' option from the navel down would be good, but I suspect that would go out of the defined pubic area.

Anyway, a sterling effort as is & I hope for further additions & refinements.  ;)

Outfits / Another First Attempt: Sweater & Jeans
« on: November 06, 2011, 12:06:56 PM »
This is my first attempt at texturing. So cut me some slack, please?  ;)

There are minor poke through issues around the armpits in some animations.

The belt on the jeans really could do with a bump map, but I haven't got that far with my skillset yet!  :-[

That said, for a first attempt, I am quite pleased & encouraged.  :eyebrows:

I really would have liked to make it into a Polo-Neck ( Turtleneck US ) Sweater.
It would have been great if I could have taken the collar up to her jaw line, for a nice high neck, but the available mesh doesn't go that far!  :(

Any chance of getting that on the clothing wireframe mesh & UVMap, please?

Thanks, I am quite pleased with how she came out.  :o

Yeah, I got that initially.

I corrected the XML file  in game.

Forgot about the archive one!  :-[

Will do!

I think this one should work OK.

You have a very user friendly error capture in this software!  ;)

Any tips for my issue with the meter.png, please?

First try, so please go easy!   :eyebrows:
The most difficult bit I found was doing the meter.png  :o
Any suggestions to get that circular selection done neatly, would be gratefully received! ;)

Any constructive criticism welcomed.  :)

Edit: Incorrect XML file in original zip corrected.

You're very welcome.

I agree it is a lot easier working from them than trying to match texture to texture.

Suggestions / Morphing Character Faces?

To my mind, there is no substitute for on screen morph adjustment to create a new character's face.

Are there any plans for a Face Shop?

Your efforts are appreciated, Jak!  ;)

It is refreshing to see a developer take an active interest in what is posted in the forum & be so responsive.

Thanks.

Suggestions / Real World Clothing?
« on: November 04, 2011, 09:58:24 AM »
I would like to put in a request for clothing variety & functionality to be improved.

What I am thinking of is to be in a position where the models can be outfitted in realistic everyday clothing.
Always, it seems in the 3D model world focus is put on glamour / play wear at the expense of credible real world outfits.
I am sure this would be welcomed by those who might wish to develop a storyboard feature.

To facilitate this, there would need to be multiple layers of clothing.
Ideally, I think we should be looking at up to three items for the upper torso eg jacket, top & bra.
Up to three layers for the lower torso eg skirt / jeans, hose & panties & perhaps a couple for the feet.

I would like to see casual wear.
Jackets, coats, sweaters, T-Shirts, Blouses.
Jeans, trousers (pants) , skirts, dresses.
I'm thinking both casual & formal.

Also how about uniforms?
I am not so much thinking of the 'play uniform', but more the plausible realistic types.
Policewoman, nurse, air hostess etc.

I appreciate this will be a whole load of work, but if the basics are put in place, I'm sure the community would make use of them, in a most creative way.

I bought this pack yesterday.

It is pretty powerful, but there are a few features that I think it would benefit from.

Cleavage width adjustment ( widely spaced breasts or very close ).
Angle adjustment. ( Outward pointing or parrallel. I think negative values probably wouldn't give a realistic effect ).

Possibly in a seperate pack, nipples & more specifically aereolae.
There is a vast variety of size shape & colour in these.
Most are assymettric anyway.
Puffies would be great eg Faye Reagan's were an excellent example of that  ;)

Suggestions / Re: What kind of hair styles do you want?
« on: November 04, 2011, 09:18:24 AM »
I think variety is the key here.

It is easy to overdo the more extreme,  usually punk inspired short styles.

I like the pony tail idea & longer styles.

Once we get some suitable clothing, I would quite like to investigate the more retro styles.
Perhaps the 60's Beehive or even the 40's & 50's film star styles.
