I think it needs a lot of performance fixes I am running a 1060 which can run games in 1440p 60fps no problem games like battlefront 2 the new one with no frame hitches but this one really chugs I think you need to improve the texture streaming and performance management also add in the keyboard commands from SS1 that would also be nice you do that and I think you would have a winner. if you could also allow people to import the girls areas and dlc from the first game I think that would be a winner too. you are on the right track though

Thanks for your thoughts. Have you tried turning off some of the graphics options in Settings (hit ESC) while in the game. That usually helps.

Adding the SS1 keyboard commands is a good idea, so I'll put that on the list.

As far as importing things from the first game, it's virtually impossible. This game is written fresh from the ground on up, and everything is different. With that said, we've considered the possibility of creating some sort of "mid-point" converter for the old characters, which would bring them to a point where they could then be edited further for use in the new game. That's something we might add into the upcoming Character Editor. But as far as just simply loading in old add-ons, that's not really possible in this new game.

It's something on your PC for sure, as this has never been a reported issue before. You might want to try shutting down everything else (including virus checkers) before playing, and see if that helps. And when you say the audio is cutting out, do you mean it stutters, or it completely cuts out for periods of time?

I usually screen record and then edit the videos using audio tracks of my choice, so until now, I didn't really care too much about this, but I've been feeling a bit lazy lately so not really bothering to edit, etc.


The issue is that the in game audio cuts out fairly often.  Not sure if it's the sim or an issue with my pc.


Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

There are usually people browsing the forum in lurk mode, but sadly a lot of the "guests" you see as being online are just spam bots looking for ways in.

I have been spending a ridiculous amount of time messing around with the game and on this board.  I notice quite often that there are several "guests" viewing the forum.  Soooooo, Guest, if you are, like myself, new to this old game, but enjoying it, please register and hit me up via pm.  Perhaps we can share tips etc.  There is a lot of info in these forums but for me, there are many things I'm stuck on because I can't find what I need all of the time.

Anyway, say hi.  It's lonely in here.
