Well grats on getting FLSM out on Steam anyway. Good to know that there is hope for the older SexSim.

Who would have thought in Nov 2019 that by Apr 2020 most economies would be tanking because we all have to stay inside. Certain ways of doing things are going to change forever and we can't even predict that.

The original SexSim is still a great game with reasonably priced dlc. It looks great, works great, hell I just bought more stuff today, seven years after the original came out.

In this age of Steam allowing adult content it needs to be up there being exposed, pun intended, to millions of guys into sex. At the moment it would have no credible competition as a sim.

Unofficial Sex Sim Support / missing poses

I just updated my sexsim to version 1.96 (been a while lol).

Looks like an awesome update to 1.95. All my stuff seems to have migrated smoothly except for certain poses, for example the DirtySex pack with the alternate pose buttons, and the Sex Variety pack 1. It shows that hamster2219 owns them, which is me, and the only account.

I should mention that I had a heck of a time actually downloading the update, was crawling along quite slowly.

I've looked through here and the official forums without getting an answer. Anyone who can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!

Edit: I remember using the alternate pose buttons, so I definitely had all these poses. The only thing that's different now is using Win10 instead of Win7, and of course version 1.96.

Edit 2: Nevermind all. It was hidden behind the "show help screens F1" ... so I hit F1 and everything's back to normal.

Not counting 3dxchat and several other successful online 3d sex services which currently run at least $30/month (even the venerable old 3dsexvilla2 is $30/month now) your main competition in the 3d sex babes category is House Party. 

At the moment the full House Party game consists of 13 characters (that's growing), many voiced lines, tons of interactive dialogue options, and lots of quests, for a grand total of $17 CDN.

At the moment the SS2 team is not even planning interactivity, we'll never be able to walk around a populated beach and walk up to a character and start talking to her. At the moment if I wanted to buy five characters, three pose packs, and three clothing packs that would all cost 18850 PPs. That's not including the environment editor which is 4500 PPs. To get those 18850 PPs I would have to spend at least $24 US. It's quite expensive given that there are only three poses per pack, only three sets of clothing per pack.

The whole game (including all the editors) should be in the $25 range. You're up against the age of free porn.

With both SinVR and House Party up on steam it seems the time is right for SS2 to go there too. Are there plans to release to steam? Huge customer pool.

I'd also love to see a dating sim option, where we could interact with the men/women in the environment, talk to them, get to know them.

Men love a good tease, I have fond memories of the arianeb dating sim. Also, having an emotional connection with someone is just as important for males as it is for females. If there's anything missing from a pure sex sim like this it is that element.

That may explain the success of House Party, which is up on Steam. The actual sex is not great in a lot of different ways, but the house and grounds are full of interesting people which are fully scripted. Also the quest lines are TOO complicated imo so you spend more time reloading the game than actually playing it.

In 2019 a lot of online sexual content has gone multiplayer, 3dchat and so on. People online are looking for an emotional connection.

I've attached a wordpad doc with some actual dialogue. I'm offering to help write the dialogue options in case you are too busy coding.

Hi Giselle!

Was able to download and run smoothly on maxed out settings, windowed or full screen, on Win7 actually. Running that on a gaming rig though, looks and sounds awesome. It seems to be a smooth upgrade in gameplay and graphics from original.

Was a big fan of the original SexSim, owned every pack and char, and environment I could get my hands on. Plan on doing the same with the new game.

The only thing missing from the original was some FFM or MMF poses. I was wondering if you have plans to add that content to the new game?

Like others here have already done I'd like to thank you and your tiny team for the amazing work you've done for this game over the years!

PS I also got the FLSM game, awesome graphics there too!
