User Creations / 15 Belly Button Rings for Custom Textures

BELLY RINGS

Description:
-15 various belly button ring .png files I've created for use on custom girl textures.

Included in Pack:
-15 .png files
-Instructions for use

What You Need to Use These:
-The girl's body texture file
-Graphic editing software that can work with transparent layers(Gimp, Photoshop, etc.)

Instructions:
To use the belly ring on a created girl:

1. Open the girl's texture file w/ your graphic editing software of choice.
2. Open the included .png file as a new visible layer.
3. Scale the size and move the new layer as needed to line up with the girl's belly button or other body area where you wish it to appear.
4. BACKUP the original texture file in case you want to get rid of the ring.
5. Save the new texture containing the belly ring with the appropriate name and in the appropriate folder(the same name/location of the original texture file).
6. You're done. Enjoy the girl w/ her new belly bling!

Notes:
-If you're not familiar with using graphic editing software like GIMP or Photoshop and have no clue what I'm talking about above, leave a comment with your question on the page you downloaded this from OR send me a PM OR start a topic on the forums. I'm always happy to help and will respond as soon as I can.
-If you want to get rid of the ring just delete the texture and replace it with the backup of the original texture file(you remembered to do that right?)
-I chose to make these in png format because there currently is no option for belly rings in the jewelry section of the character editor and it was a lot easier than making a whole new BumpTex for each separate ring design. Plus, I was able to use photos of actual belly rings so they resulted in a much more detailed appearance than I could've ever created from scratch.
-Feel free to use any and all of my various belly piercing png's on any girls you decide to create and upload to the site. Just make sure you try to remember to give me credit for it on the download page.

General Discussion / Proof Boob Flop is Active and Working(at least for me)

Hey Jak, so I saw your response to the comments made abt how boobflop affects the appearance of the boobs on my created models and why I use them over at the add-ons page.  I know in your reply you said it was taken out and deactivated cuz it was causing problems, but for me it is working perfectly since I bought the BreastShaper add-on and I'm loving what I can do with it(makes natural boobs look REALLY natural).

So I thought I would post some pictures so you can see that(at least for me) it is active and working as it is supposed to. I played around with my user created model "Andreea" to show how she changes in the Sim when I edit her boobflop values in the xml file.

Here is the background info as I'm sure you'd like to know:
-I'm running the updated 1.3 version of the software
-The boobflop values only started working correctly AFTER I bought the BreastShaper add-on(this is why I warn people in my model descriptions abt the boobs possibly looking different if they dont have BreastShaper)
-Andreea's default xml values for her boobs are as follows:

<BoobSize_LX>1.2</BoobSize_LX>
<BoobSize_LY>1.1</BoobSize_LY>
<BoobSize_LZ>1</BoobSize_LZ>
<BoobSize_RX>1.2</BoobSize_RX>
<BoobSize_RY>1.1</BoobSize_RY>
<BoobSize_RZ>1</BoobSize_RZ>
<BoobFlop>10</BoobFlop>

I made some screenshots below comparing her default boobflop value of 10 to what happens when I edit this value to 0, 20 and 50.  I did nothing with the values for depth, width or height.  All I changed was the boobflop values.
You'll notice that when reset to 0 they look like gravity has no effect on them at all, at 20 they have sagged down more than at the default 10, and at 50 they have completely dropped like she is a 100 year old granny.
Also, I tinker with boobflop when I create all my models(except for Brandi Lee Tate cuz she is supposed to have fake boobs) and it works on all of them as you can see if you look at their gallery photos.
I have noticed that the changes fluctuate on how dramatically it changes the appearance in relation to what values I set for the depth, width and height for the boobs. Although at this point I have not done enough testing to determine exactly what the threshold is for this correlation.
So I dunno...like I said...it is definitely active and working as intended since I downloaded the BreastShaper. Take a look at the pics below and see what you think. Cheers and thx for all your hard work.

FIONA BURKE

Bonus: I've included my GIMP files with layers that I used to make Fiona. This allows you to remove/change things like her makeup, tattoos, etc. or to use the textures as a template for making your own models. Complete instructions on how to do this is included in the zip.

Backstory: 23 year old NYC tattoo artist who's really into living wild and free. She frequents the underground rave scene and is just as likely to be found in bed with women as she is with men...sometimes even both!

What Makes Her Unique:
-Cherry Skulls tattoo on neck
-Fairy Punk tattoo on side
-Pink Fading Flames tattoo above her pussy
-Silver color "Slut" belly button piercing
-Full sleeve style floral tattoos on both arms(I made these 100% from scratch...took a lot of time)
-Total build from the ground up on everything except the bump tex. As with all my girls, I started with Jak's Base Female Character Texture. Every single value has been tweaked via xml and the character editor to keep her body as uniformed, natural, and unique as possible. I try to create my girls more true to "real life" form in facial structure, body build, and imperfections. I feel this gives the character more "personality."

-Copy of the silver color "slut" belly ring PNG for use on you own models
-oncesailor's awesome Little Cat outfit. Love this one, thx to him for making it.
-the GIMP files with layers I used to make Fiona. Use these to customize her exactly as you want.

What You Need for Model to look EXACTLY like Below:
-oncesailor's Little Cat outfit. Included in zip.
-Robyn for the BumpTex
-Kendra for the punky hairstyle
-HairStyler for the black rainbow hair color
-Shoes add-on for the black chunky boots
-Possibly BreastShaper for the boobflop to appear correctly. Not sure on this, but if they look odd and you dont have this add-on, then open the xml file and reset the boobflop value to 0.
-The Wet Skin add-on that is available for FREE with any add-on purchase.

Instructions:
-Complete installation instructions for all files included in the zip can be found inside the zip file itself.

Backstory: Bartender at a small pub in south London. Extremely flaky and lacking ambition, but full of passion when living in the moment. If you can capture her imagination she will give you all she's got between the sheets.

What Makes Her Unique:
-Diamond Angel belly ring.
-Custom seagreen color eyes.
-Small lion head tattoo above breast.
-Floral tattoo on wrist.
-Total build from the ground up on everything except the bump tex. As with all my girls, I started with Jak's Base Female Character Texture. BRANDI LEE TATE

Backstory: Southern sorority girl dreaming of moving west and becoming a big star. She's obsessed with her looks and has indulged in a little bit of plastic surgery, including "dating" an older man to pay for the boob job she's always wanted so badly.

What Makes Her Unique:
-3 Diamond belly button piercing(Extra copy for personal use included).
-Subtle "six-pack" abs body texture.
-Subtle freckles on face.
-Total build from the ground up on everything except the bump tex. As with all my girls, I started with Jak's Base Female Character Texture. Every single value has been tweaked via xml and the character editor to keep her body as uniformed, natural, and unique as possible. I try to create my girls more true to "real life" form in facial structure, body build, and imperfections. I feel this gives the character more "personality."

Characters / New Creator Here...would love some feedback!

Hey guys(and girls?), I'm new here on the forums.

First and foremost I'd like to thank Jak for making such a great adult software. To this day I still feel SexSim is truly the best of its kind due to the fact that I love software that I can customize and tinker around with. Throw in the great animation engine and his dedication for updating it continually and i was totally hooked. I dont wanna come off like too much of a kiss-ass so in summation I'll just say I give you big props and much respect for what you have going on here Jak, keep up the great work! 

Second, I'd like to say thx to all of you dedicated modders/customizers. All your creations, resources and info here on the forums has been invaluable to me over these months that I've been honing my model creating craft. You guys rock! 

Finally(sorry to ramble on), some short background on me as a creator: I've had SexSim for probably...I dunno year and a half or so. I got serious about creating models about 3 months ago and try to work on them whenever I'm not working or spending time with the fiance. What I found is that I enjoy creating models maybe even more than I do playing the game so i guess you could say maybe I have a bit of a Frankenstein complex lol.  Lastly, I'm a devoted GIMP user(just never felt comfortable with Photoshop...really dunno why). I'm self-taught on it and have been messing around with it for the better part of 5 years or so and really enjoy that. So I guess model creation was really up my alley since it combined 2 things that I really like playing around with as hobbies.

Ok.......pleasantries out of the way.....on to the real reason you opened this post.......my models! 

These first three that Ive uploaded to the add-ons page(great idea btw Jak) are not only 3 of my favs I've made, but I also feel they really embody my philosophy as a model creator.
-realism: I'm a stickler for details...so I really strive to make things as true to life as possible.
-uniqueness: I love creating models based on a theme or inspiration...I really strive to give them each their own "personality."
-tribute to all the hard work put in by you guys and Jak: I try to utilize every and all resources we have been given here on SexSim to truly show what can be accomplished using them. In other words...I try to push my abilities and the abilities of the software to the limit whenever possible.

So anywho....here are my first 3 uploads.  I really respect all your opinions very much as I've been lurking around and reading the posts on the forum for quite some time.  Basically I would love for any and all of you to take a look at my work and give them a run in the Sim so as to get your feedback on what you like and what you think could be improved.  Be brutally honest as possible as I am not offended by positive criticism and feel that it's needed for me to keep improving as a creator.

So that's it........thx much if you read all this intro and I cant wait to hear what you all think of my work so far.

one quick note....i was not able to do it with these models cuz i didnt think of it yet at the time i made them...but in the future i plan to include my .xcf GIMP files in my model packs. The reason being is that if you download my models, but dont like, say, a tattoo, makeup, etc. you could use those .xcf files to simply make that particular layer invisible and resave it as a new texture for that model minus whatever detail you were not a big fan of.
