I eagerly downloaded the new Anime characters and new location, tried each out, played around with the editor a little, and left it on the new Kinbaku room, using one of my old Custom girls but equipped with an Auburn recolour of the new Toony Too hairstyle. Now I can't get into the game - it hangs forever on load, when it gets to 'Loading hair for [Custom Girl]'

Specifically it was the one time I tried it in the Camping environment using it as a custom hair in Auburn on a custom character, if that helps

Don't get it! It's terrible, what's in the screenshots on the site is basically all there is, just those 4-5 scenes animated with about 3 different camera angles.

a bit older and not as pretty as Sex Sim and while more clothes, not as much face/body customisation, but TONS of content and sex poses, new updates very regularly - free-to-play, but with lots of addons to buy.

With the Character Editor, it's possible to make pretty much any girl, the only thing missing is hairstyles.
So, in terms of new content and Characters, here's my suggestions of things that would be awesome, in order of implementation difficulty:
- A hairstyle pack: A nice selection of new hairstyles, particularly I'd like something with a nice neat straight fringe, and some pigtails, braided or not - maybe some guy hair too
- More girl-girl positions: There's really not many compared to guy-girl, and for some reason no 69 or scissoring?
- More voices! I know Jak recorded the current ones from actual people having sex, and they're really good, but a little samey considering the variety of girls now available (Although I notice in girl-girl the second girl has a different voice?) - not necessarily words, characters saying stuff can get weird and out of place (although if you go that route, a prompt to speak rather than just random sayings works better).
- Expand the Character Editor to include guys - it seems odd we can make any girl we want but are stuck with the same kinda grizzly guys
- Add hairstyles to the character editor
- Extra clothing styles - skirts or dresses would be awesome, or even long pants - it always feels weird when the girls can't wear anything longer than hotpants, although the logistics of 'how does this work during sex' is tricky, so maybe:
- Physics support for cloth/hair/cum: Allow more complicated hairstyles or skirts or dresses, then they can move and be pushed aside during sex and have more dynamic cumshots/creampies. Obviously more technically demanding, but there's some great things I've seen you can do with Unity these days, and even some 3rd-party addons that could be used.
- Multiplayer

Hehe, I was just thinking of a few things too, now there seems to be action on the dev front, although it feels a bit demanding maybe :p

- I'd love if 'Look at Camera' made the character look at where the camera is now, but not follow it, so I can pose looking in other directions
- A tight bob hairstyle with a straight, neat fringe and a bit of an undercut at the back
- More poses for girl-girl, particularly 69 is conspicuously absent
- Threesomes would be lovely!!

Just personal - no online features. There's a bunch of customisation and variety though, but needs at least a few of the addon packs.

Inked Ravens as far as I can tell is under the Ripened Peach brand, but Sex Sim was sold/passed on to new developers so isn't the same team or company - it's still 'in progress' but the new guys seem to be taking a while doing anything, apparently updating the engine before adding any more content...

Hey awesome SexSim devs!
Just really wondering what the plans are for the future of this game, as it's wonderful although seems to have slowed down a fair bit the longer it's been around. Are people still working on it, and is it an in-development concern, or just a side project for 'when you have time'?
Just a suggestion for if it's more the latter, why not make the focus more on higher-price modding addons, like the girl editor, but for guys, animations and rooms? Then, you don't need to update so much, but the community can build up the content and keep the game going without so much time dedication from development (and, indeed, free up resources for even bigger engine and content improvements if you are working hard on new things )
